Are you sure that Qara Qoyunlu is the one who started the war? Lets say Munster declares on Gelre. Actions that will occupy a diplomat for a period of time will display a diplomat icon () on their button. Yes, you can make demands if you become warleader, including cede province. But what I really want is to take their land.
So in the game I'm playing the Ottomans just declared war on Persia, and I'm considering using the enforce peace option (since I know they won't accept) to join the war. Enforce peace is something added into the game to make it easier to farm trust from countries you're trying to diplovassalize. Thanks. Press J to jump to the feed. It said something like Invalid target.
My understanding is that you would join the ongoing war. I use it all the time to break up Colony wars as to not get drawn into global war shit. Can I make demands?
Any ideas why this happened? You cannot enforce peace with any of the other nations except the war leader, and you cannot try to enforce peace by taking the side of the attacker in a war. Enforcing peace will almost never be accepted. This guy is right on the nose OP, but if it's still not possible after clicking Georgia, I think something along the the lines of war subsidies is usually required. This means, in this case, if you have a truce with the Ottomans or are in regency, you may not enforce peace. If you cant find the option, Enforce Peace is a good substitute. The attacker will still be able to call allies that are not in the war, but those allies will most probably not join, considering they didn't join at the start of the war. I had 100+ relations with Georgia at the time, but I simply could not ask the hiorde to peace out. I have researched on the wiki, and it says that you need 100 relations with the nation that was the enemy of Quara Qoyunlu, wich was Georgia. On the screen you've shown us enforcing peace with Qara Qoyunlu, did you click the Georgia crest from the list of Qara Qoyunlus enemies? So i am playing as Austria and i got an alliance with England, immediately i am drawn into a war with thier vassal and i have been at war for 3 years with 100% warscore and everything seiged down and i am getting 0.2 war exaustion per month and i think i have encountered a new bug, is there a console command to force peace? However, my decision will ultimately hinge on a few questions about what actually happens. Some actions - improving relations, annexing a vassal, building up a spy network and counterespionage - will occupy a diplomat indefinitely or until completion of the task, unless the diplomat is manually recalled. Sometimes you will, sometimes you won't. You cannot enforce peace with any of the other nations except the war leader, and you cannot try to enforce peace by taking the side of the attacker in a war.
You have to use it on the attacker (Nation B) and have +100 relations with the defender (Nation A). No.
Thanks! Its just an extra little step to choose which war you would actually like to end. In one case, after a war where I released Wallachia (2 province state) from Serbia, Poland DOW'd them (how rude, I had a subjugation CB waiting on Wallachia), I was a 200+ province Tuscany at the time, Wallachia stayed war leader. I would love to experiment and just see what happens without saving, but of course I'm using ironman for those achievements, so that's kinda annoying. Just to make sure, generally I enforce peace pretty late in wars - beyond that 60 day point where AI seems very unwilling to honor call to arms. No, on Quara. Other actions are immediate. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Munster calls in The Hansa, Cologne, and Alsace. But I also tried on Georgia and the option did not appear. You can only enforce peace against aggressors, not defenders. Europa Universalis IV.
Will/can I become the war leader? r/eu4: A place to share content, ask questions and/or talk about the grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV by Paradox Development Studio.
