As we welcome back our first audiences since theatres closed in March 2020, and in line with current Government guidance, a selection of events will be hosted under full social distancing, with venue-wide safety mitigations, including the mandatory wearing of face coverings. We would ask that you adhere to these staggered arrival times so we can keep maximum distance between audience members as they arrive. • The show will be presented in exactly the same way as normal – with a full cast, set and costumes. It brings the total number of Nightingale courts to 17, providing 32 court rooms, the MoJ said. What do we need from our audiences What if I develop any COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with someone with symptoms? We present audiences with a diverse programme of theatre, exhibitions, events and activities.
Tickets are required for admission and will be scanned on arrival. Will there be social distancing measures in the foyers at theatre performances? Whilst our doors will be open and the lights will be on, it’s only court proceedings taking place at this time. The quality of the performance will not be compromised in any way. Front of House areas will additionally be cleaned during shows, while audience members are in the auditorium. We regret that audiences will not be able to meet the cast after the performance and there will be no access to the Stage Door. Filters are changed as part of regular, routine maintenance and we have full control over the air system throughout the theatre via our building management system.
