Vincent did not honor City Gates warranty and made me pay more money than originally quoted just so my business could open again.I took pictures and videos each time the technicians came out and have poof of the technicians saying that the work should be covered under warranty but Vincent wanted more money.Finally after the gates were installed with proper side locks, i have had no issues with the gate. The artists received a great deal of their nationwide fame as a frequent object of ridicule by David Letterman, as well as by Keith Olbermann, whose apartment was nearby. Just stay away and safe yourself the grief. The Gates were a group of gates comprising a site-specific work of art by Bulgarian artist Christo Yavacheff and French artist Jeanne-Claude, known jointly as Christo and Jeanne-Claude. All the gates have issues already after only being up for a few weeks.

Complete scammers. By the afternoon of February 12, all of the panels were unfurled. It has gotten so bad for them that at the first sign of dissatisfaction, they will not pick up the phone, they will not stop by to inspect their work, they will run to file a lien. All of our products are designed and manufactured in our plant located in College Point, New York, USA. We are a privately owned company that is family owned and operated. Save yourself the headache, and find a gate company with more experience and an owner who takes responsibility and returns calls. The total materials used according to the artists were 5,390 tons of steel, 315,491 feet (96 km) of vinyl tubing, 99,155 square metres of fabric, and 15,000 sets of brackets and hardware. Half way through the installation one of the guys tells me that the key switch isn't working and it needs to be replaced. Worst company I ever dealt with! A team that listens to you and makes sure that they know all of your needs before they start to work. The pictures do not do this horrible job justice. I had to email my receipt because they said the receipt would not be in their system.
Grow up man. They had to run to the local Home Depot for parts ( really!!) Once we have a clear picture of what your iron works needs are, we can get your Staten Island or Long Island home or business set up with good help. City Gates or City Store Gates is by far the worst!!!!! Wow just talking to someone from this company on the phone for 2 minutes left such a bad taste in my mouth!! He apologized and promised to fix this job.......... Two months later and I am back and forte with them, they come up with every excuse not to show up, remove this lousy shutter gate and refund me my money!!!.
