This has to be one of the most beautiful and vast places I've ever been to and continue to visit on a regular. The great thing is that when you hike off the paved trails, you get to see so much more of the history and monuments. Otherwise an easy hike. The battlefield and all the museums are wonderful.
After your investigation, sit around the fire pit and share your experiences and any evidence you may have captured. Very crowded place, depending on when you visit. Great shortened version. I was brimming with excitement when the "Spirit Mom" Amanda Thomas invited me to meet these Spirits in THE BASEMENT. When completed, the trail will form a 2-mile, unbroken loop, with additional connections to the North Gettysburg Trail, which extends north along Old US Route 15 to the high school, and the Gettysburg National Military Park Trail, which connects Steinwehr Ave. on the south end of town with the visitor center for the famous national park. It's a walk through the battle field full sun lots of cars if u want a hike. Highly recommend if you're just looking for a short walk in this area. Also some trails on the park map just simply aren't there.
The only part that we walked thru a short field section, I got 6 ticks leading and my wife got 3. I am a paranormal investigator and this was an amazing investigation.
Off line map is recommended to get oriented as several users have reported that this trail is not well marked. A mystical haunted trail worth remembering!! Enjoyable views and flowers/trees. Gettysburg Trail is a 2.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The confederate soldiers who had field camps and 3 confederate field hospitals on this property have NOT abandoned post.

Culp's hill was really interesting when you get into the thick of it. I'm an intermediate hiker and had an outstanding time, the only real challenge was the length of the hike and elevation on Big Round Top; but overall I'd recommend it. Drove part of the loop, and had a great horseback riding tour back through the Confederate side near the site of Pickett's Charge.
