From here you will head on to Sägistal, tucked in a valler surrounded by tall mountains. Note you can’t use the WC at the hut unless you buy something or pay 2 Francs. What incredible views. As if this weren’t already an amazing hike, that last ascent to the plateau above Manndlenen revealing the Eiger - Jungfrau group is amazing and just keeps getting better.

The Faulhorn is a small mountain within the Berner Oberland with a rounded, almost featureless summit with the notable exception of a small hotel with a restaurant near its apex. Highly recommend!
