A place to share content, ask questions and/or talk about the grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV by Paradox Development Studio. Animism is the belief that the world is habited by a number of supernatural spiritual beings without any separation of the mundane and spiritual worlds.

Animist and Totemist are basically bottom tier, with few up sides except having a CB on everyone in the world. Also, I got my first colonial nation in Australia, I named it Tidore Baru, and I'm now colonizing the rest of Papua and Hawaii. For the region, see Egypt (region). I converted to Sunni and now in the process of converting the rest of my nation (I only have one missionary). Seems worth it purely for that sweet title. Animist is in the Pagan group, and has one heretic:  Shamanist. It can be formed by nations whose primary culture is Egyptian and their capital is in Cairo (361).

Last edited by Yargo ; Jan 9, 2017 @ 2:39pm #3 Its better but i wouldn't recommend since you would need religious ideas to switch over. Yeah, you need to be Animist, other pagans don't work.

If you like (semi)roleplaying, paganism > all.

Sunni is probably a bit easier to convert and generally more powerful though because there are a lot more sunni neighbours. Egypt地方内の所有していない州にPermanent Claim付与(すでにコア、Claimのついている州は除く) NI変更イベントが発生(変更しない選択肢もあり) 20年間"centralization_modifier"の付与(自治度変化-0.05/月 … When I played with ternate i converted to hindu.I highly recomend it because hindu is really fun. Personally I'd switch to Hinduism over Sunni, but either of them have better decisions and events associated with them. Plus you can easily island hop to Madagascar then up to Egypt. There's that unique decision that gives you decreased stability cost modifier for the rest of the game or whatever, and there might be one or two stability increasing events exclusive to Animist, but aside from that Sunni is better. I'm a noob trying to learn how to play EU4 after playing over a thousand hours of CK2 so, pardon me if this is a silly … I am playing a Ternate game right now and im still animist and its in the late 1500s. Unrelated note: The Ottomans are in Taiwan for some reason. Then, the "Convert to Islam" thingy became available. You could check by creating a custom nation with Egyptian culture and seeing what your ruler's title would be with various government types. I'm a noob trying to learn how to play EU4 after playing over a thousand hours of CK2 so, pardon me if this is a silly question. I can see all of south america, but the only person there is France in Colonial La Plata and no one has come around the Cape yet.

Take your favorite fandoms with you and never miss a beat.

Only pagan faiths with much flavor are Inca, Nahuatl, Mayan and Fetishist. But Animist is cooler so it balances out.

Going Sunni gives you more estates, if you have Cossacks installed and extra tax and lowered tech cost for low piety.
