No there is new model today master of executions. The main attraction of 40k is the miniatures, but there are also many video games, board games, books, ect.
High attacks (4-5 or more), better strength or an invuln (3+ 5++ would still be fairly squishy for a character hunter, but better than the 3+ the Exalted Champion has) could make him relatively viable. Actually on second thought, I love this unit.
The Exalted Champion re-rolls hits against Characters and has a Shred aura at all times.
Like the MoP he's coveed in bones which is cool, but he also has lots of leather, chainmail, a medieval looking axe and a classic executioner's hood.

I kind of like him but I can see why others don’t, I think if he was painted in a different colour scheme from black legion then he’d probably have looked better as imo the black legion colours isn’t great.
