I just purchased a physical copy of the Japanese game. Despite a European release being announced, the game has never been released outside of Japan. So I’ve recently come into possession of a Wii console and I’ve been thirsty to try out the Fatal Frame 4 game and attempt to use the English patch. Unfortunately though Fatal Frame IV or Project Zero 4 never came out in the PAL regions.

If you want to own the game you need to import it from Japan, however thankfully a fans translation for FF4 does exist and it is playable on Wii and possibly Wii-U (not sure how tight Nintendo are on homebrew on wii-u now) with a few tricks.
