Stumbled upon this restaurant not knowing it had anything to do with Mario Batali. Quite a surprise for a plain restaurant. Started with high expectations:   beautiful ambiance, welcoming professional service, novelle menu with interesting things such as guanciale pizza with truffles and egg and a pizza that involved pistachios and a honey truffle drizzle. It tasted like a desert to me. We just shared a pizza and it was tasty. My husband and I live in Guilford CT and never hesitate to drive down to Westport to eat at this lovely restaurant. We went on the open table app after and read countless reviews of people being unhappy. Also ordered the beet salad with faro.It was unedible. The pizzas are great, the pastas delicious and the mains are really tasty. This fourth visit was my last. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Fairfield County to dine in or out. My 'Fusili alla crazy bastard' was great. Went here for the first time with friends and was very pleased. Her meal came out not how we expected it at all: it was what almost looked like pieces of boiled duck in a green pasta. I don't know if this happens to you ever, but it seems to be a trend...that when waiters deliver your food, they completely disappear for a LONG time. Great Service excellent food! I met up with a friend there for a glass of wine and we ended up ordering the pizza with prosciutto to nibble on.

Just the way Lidia Bastianich suggested to try them!! On my way out I mentioned my concerns to the manager who asked where I was seated, she looked at the POS and then just said "ohh i see what happend". )I ordered a ravioli on the menu with shaved asparagus and lemon. I had the Eggplant Alla Parmigiana. 30 Charles St. Westport, CT 688. She has great nails, and the most beautiful in fairfield county. First time at the restaurant.

Tarry Lodge Enoteca Pizzeria features Nusser's signature hand-made pastas, exquisite fritti, and succulent meats cooked to order on our wood fired grill. Nothing to write home about. I point this out because good service with these qualities are hard to come by these days. Tarry Lodge never disappoint. :). I have worked with Gordon Ramsay and have mentioned that in my other reviews ... this was by far the worst food I've had in a long time VIA takeout / Italian. My husband and I were excited to try Tarry Lodge this past weekend. Although oddly named, it was wonderful. I rate this as 3.5 stars on their take out service. Our host and waitress were exceptional! This is definitely a millenial place since the alcohol list was twice as big as the main menu. Their jalapeño margarita is pretty good too. A pool for sure. For the prices this restaurant charges, didn't really expect amateurs in the kitchen. Looking forward to being able to eat inside one day.

We had been since that happened and we wondered if anything had changed, but it hadn't. The family ultimately decided to get up and leave. Tardy Lodge used to be affiliated with Mario Bitalli (now disgraced chef) but not anymore. First time at the Westport Tarrylodge restaurant for my husbands birthday dinner. We would have sent them back, but our waiter was nowhere to be found so we just let it go (given the way the rest of the meal played out, I greatly regret not saying something). For our entrees I got the eggplant parmigiana and my husband for the tagliatelle bolognese. The next time I had the eggplant parmesan which just melts in your mouth and my third visit I went for the Garganelli with Funghi (pasta with mushrooms). First, they changed their menu so that the lunch prix-fixe is limited and not interesting. Surprised at some of the negative reviews, my husband and I really liked the food, and the service was excellent, attentive but not annoyingly so. Tarry Lodge is fantastic.

The appetizers were tasty, we tried several including the octopus and the oysters fritte, both are worth it. The arrangement at the door is inadequate for the traffic, much of which is the wait staff trying to get back and forth to the outside tables.
