yes you're right, it's cool to have fluff, but the chapter i'm thinking isn't the minatours you're thinking of :-( the ones you're mentioning fades from red up to yellow on the armour (someone has done some on the painting blogs) i'm thinking the ones from how to paint space marines, and they're slightly more boring than the cool minatours! i think it would be cool to have an army that is in fluff so you can build upon it but it is still very much your own.
